CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)

The new dialysis machine DIPACT CRRT at the dialysis unit has special features to meet today’s and tomorrow’s demands

This machine is designed to perform a large number of different therapy forms. The operator can select continuous or           intermittent dialysistherapies or plasmapherisis.

ii It also features a double pump single needle mode that is unique to haemofiltration systems. By controlling the flow          and pressure conditionsinside the haemofilter, premature clogging of the filter is prevented effectively. The single          needle haemofiltration mode can be especially useful intreating patients with recurring fluid overloads
         (as seen in cardiomyopathy).

ii In contrast to so-called “on-line” haemodiafiltration systems it uses only sterile solutions.

ii Alarms are indicated acoustically and optically with a clear description of the alarm cause on the screen to help locate          the problem quickly.

ii An optional internal battery pack allows treatment to be performed even when the main electrical supplyfails.
