The Emergency Department of Mediciti Hospital works round the clock headed by Dr. MD. Mukhtar Sayeed and manned by well trained doctors and nursing staff to handle all kinds of emergencies.

STAFF : There are dedicated Medical officers round the clock along with trained nurses & ward boys.  Emergency department is covered 24x7 by a team of consultants from every specialty and super specialty ready to receive any type of emergency at any given time.

EQUIPMENT & DRUGS : Emergency department is fully equipped with latest equipments including ventilator with minor Operation Theater attached.  All emergency drugs are kept loaded in syringes & checked every day.

Various sets for suturing, dressing, trachestomy , urethral catheterization, central venous cannulation , ICD insertion equipment are available at hand.

ECG machine & portable X-ray machine are present in EMD. The CT scan room is adjacent to EMD.

Emergency department has a separate easily accessible entry. Adjacent to emergency department we have 12 bedded Medical Intensive Care Unit and 12 bedded Respiratory and Neuro Intensive care unit available.

The emergency department of Mediciti Hospital receives an average of 250 trauma cases per annum and other surgical, medical and obstetrics emergencies also. In an average we receive 1400 emergencies per annum in various deparments.
