| The Department
of Laboratory Medicine in Mediciti Hospitals is
an integrated unit of various disciplines of laboratory
science. The biochemistry section is well equipped
with state-of-art, totally automated biochemistry
analyzers-Dade Dimension ES & ER and cobas
integra-400 from Dade Ranbaxy and Roche respectively.
The biochemistry section has several other machines
like multichannel coagulometer, Avl-Roche-Electrolyte
analysers, Diastat HbA1c analyzer from Biorad
etc.
Being totally
automated with daily quality control programme
in place, quick and reliable result is assured
at all times.
The pathology
division is also well equipped with automated
hematology cell counters, QBC unit for malarial
parasite, urine strip readers, automated tissue
processor etc.
The Microbiology
& Immunology section have in their possession
Mini Vidas, an automated immunoassay system from
Biomerieux, Turbitimer from Dade–Behring.
