The ENT department
comprises highly qualified and skilled surgeons
with long – standing experience in their
field. Newer surgical techniques in cases of vocal
cord paralysis and spasmodic dysphonia are being
done successfully. Ear surgeries for improvement
of hearing. Sinus surgeries with endoscopes have
been regularly done. foreign bodies from airways,
which is life threatening. Cancer in the head
and neck region especially mouth and throat are
being detected in early stages and appropriate
treatments are executed. Disorders like snoring,
nasal allergy, vertigo are effectively analysed
with modern equipment.
The department also regularly, conducts CME programmes
on various topics for the benefit of postgraduates
and practicing ENT surgeons.
