Hospitality Services

The Hospitality Services of Mediciti are organized under a compact group head comprising of maintaining the ambience of the hospital .

The Hospitality Services aims at proving the patients and its attenders a comfortable, clean and homely environment by providing services of excellence .

Patient Relation Executives

Patient Relation Executives coordinate with the patients from the time the patient occupies the bed till he is discharged and leaves the Hospital.

They make rounds along with the consultants and carry on the necessary networking required on case to case basis .

They interact with the patients, the members of their family, the attending nurse to identify the specific problems and carry out the necessary remedial measures .

For patients to be admitted, the PRE explains the admission procedure in detail and explains the tariff structure and after discussing with the consultant and billing section provides the approximate estimate of the entire hospital stay .

For any cross reference advice by the consultant for the patient, the PRE gets in touch with that speciality consultant by way of phone or cell phone and expedites the visit.

The PREs also explain Dos and Don’ts of the procedures to the patients/family and the necessary steps to be taken before and after the procedure .

They work in close association with the consultant/ sister incharge and patient .

Any complaint or suggestion given by the patient / family is forwarded by the PRE in the form of feedback forms duty filled by the patient / family

The PREs take care of any problems with maintenance or house keeping and inform the same to the concerned department. They also take care of any bed transfers of patients and discharge request .

They also coordinate with the billing to make sure that attenders know about the daily update of their bill and help in advance collection

Clinical Co - Ordinators
This concept was started with the intension of taking best care of all patients from Entry-to-Exit. All the critical areas and other patient wards are allotted to the Clinical Co-ordinators to improve patient care in the hospital.

Starting from the admission of a patient until discharge they will help the patients in all aspects like co-ordinating between patient and doctor. Clarifying the problems if any concerned to billing , medication and in many other aspects.

With this concept patients feel that there is someone to whom they can contact any time for any requirement without feeling that they were left in an unknown place

Nursing Care
A hospital may be soundly organized, beautifully situated and well equipped, but if the nursing care is not of high quality the hospital fail in its responsibility says Jeen Bernarett. Nursing department is the back bone to any hospital. Our main objective is to inculcative professionalism in the nurses and lay equipping them with required knowledge and skills so that they provide revolutionized health care with warm effectionate touch.

Well qualified nurses from our own School of Nursing situated at Shamirpet running from the last one decade. After finishing their 3 years of GNM course they work at our hospital on a 2 years bond.

Total number of nurses is 200 including administrative nursing staff. In critical areas and ICU’s the ratio of nurses to patients is 1:1. Duties of all nurses will be shuffled in all departments on rotation by enabling them to get full-fledged knowledge in various departments.

Nursing care towards patients is an important aspect in our hospital. Regular training classes are taken by the efficient faculty to train the nurses towards hygiene, handling critical and emergency patients, communicating with the patient, computer training etc. this helps in standardizing the nursing care.

Precautionary vaccination will be provided for the nursing staff. Since we are facilitating the nurses with a hostel and a separate dining hall, all the nurses are available at times of emergency.
